Prague, Czech Republic: Notes/sketches while walking

These drawings were done while on a walking tour.

I really enjoyed my time and Prague and would like to return & draw buildings. Prague wasn't bombed during WWII, so there are an abundance of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Cubist (yes, Cubist) buildings. There's even a building decorated by Mucha, and a Mucha stained glass window (swoon). Needless to say, most of my photos are of architectural details.

Berlin, Germany: Bauhaus Museum Notes

Notes taken while drawing, reading, and listening to the audio guide at the Bauhaus Museum in Berlin. Someday, I will go on a Bauhaus tour of Germany.

Brugge, Belgium: Blind contour while wearing mittens

Despite wearing mittens, it was so cold I lost circulation in my fingers while drawing. It was a chilly April.

Brugge, Belgium: Groeninge Museum

Bosch looks even crazier when you've only half slept on an overnight bus from London.

London, England: Victoria & Albert Museum

The V&A Museum has an incredible ceramics collection. The two problems are the lack of tags (one must look up the tags on a computer, which, of course, wasn't working when I was there), and the display cases. The cases are over 12 feet in height and ceramics are crowded onto the shelves. This means it's impossible to see, draw, or photograph the majority of the collection. Plates are even stacked. It's all rather ridiculous.

London, England: British Museum

I love these guys. Every time I visit London I can't help but draw them.
